We were successful in our competitive pitch to refresh the Nat Geo WILD channel idents as well as creating a brand campaign that promoted the new look.

Our concept WILD BY NATURE featured hero wildlife forming the Nat Geo border for a brief moment, then dispersing, conveying the idea that WILD has been taking us closer for so many years that it is now entwined and ingrained in nature.

Five of the six edits were created using stock footage and the hero shots were a combination of the found footage and VFX.

The idents covered the breadth of content on the channel. We selected the animals and environments, as well as grading the footage to fit with the brands established colour palette.

The brand campaign consisted of two brand films and European toolkits including key arts, OOH adverts, and social.

The key art was a snapshot of the hero moment from the idents reinforcing the WILD BY NATURE message. We also pitched activation ideas for launch.

The wild nature of a species is often defined as animal instinct. Ultimately determining the species' survival, this natural instinct governs its movement. The campaign focuses on the different movements found in nature, using emotive, directional messaging that invites the viewer to mimic the movement of the animals featured, driving them towards ATV.
